ALIEN Bagnaia, it’s pleasure! What Italian pride!

The results of the MotoGP in Assen: Pecco Bagnaia wins hands down, he’s UNBEATABLE! Martin 2nd, Bastianini also on the podium. Bad fall at the start of the race for Alex Rins

Unbeatable, unsurpassed, impressive: Pecco Bagnaia has literally dominated everything on track this weekend in Assen, triumphing once again at his favorite track. Third consecutive victory at the TT: only Mick Doohan has succeeded in this feat, with Pecco not even leaving crumbs to his sporting enemies from 2022.

MotoGP at Assen: Pecco Bagnaia WINS!

The only one to follow him is Jorge Martin, second at the finish line: the Spaniard tries to contain the “Red Cloud”, but still ends up more than three seconds behind the Chivasso phenomenon. Bagnaia is now 10 points off the top of the world championshipoccupied by the Pramac rider himself: the Sachsenring will therefore be the stage for a possible overtaking at the top. The podium is completed by a great Bastianini, followed by Marquez, Vinales and Di Giannantonio.

Several falls on the track: from the bad highside of Alex Rins in turn 1 to yet another slip by Bezzecchi, passing through Pedro Acosta betrayed by his KTM GasGas on the last lap.

The race report

THE DEPARTUREBagnaia always starts very strong: the Ducati rider is first and immediately takes a gap, followed by Martin (who started 5th due to the penalty), Vinales and Marc Marquez. Extremely dangerous fall for Alex Rins: the Spaniard is thrown away in turn 1 from his Yamaha, in a highside where his right arm was particularly affected.

Very difficult weekend for Marco Bezzecchi: yet another crash (on lap 4) for the VR46 rider, in a nightmare weekend for the new official Aprilia rider. Joan Mir was also out, while Luca Marini ended up straight in the gravel, falling to twentieth and last position.

MotoGP at Assen: Bagnaia, monstrous lap!

However, the impossible rhythm by Pecco Bagnaia: record lap in 1.32.015, with only Jorge Martin managing to follow him. The next lap is even in 1.31.866: it’s an alien Bagnaia, something never seen before that, added to the great overtaking by Enea Bastianini on Acostagives great pride to Ducati.

Strange maneuver instead for the podium: Marc Marquez has the pace for third place, but continues to look back and remain fourth, letting those who follow him pass. Probably, the Spaniard suffers from tire pressure problems. Marquez himself is then protagonist of a contact with Bastianiniwith the Italian touching the Spaniard and sending the Gresini driver wide, after a few laps later Crazy overtaking on Di Giannantonio in turn 6.

Where is the end Pedro Acostabut there is no more time for the duel: Bagnaia wins, followed by Martin and Bastianini.
