The Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command of Carabinieri of Ravenna ha arrested in flagrante delicto a 35 year old from Ravenna on charges of aggravated theft, receiving stolen goods, unauthorized practice of medicine and supply of narcotic substances.
The man, already burdened by an Oral Notice and a DASPO provision, employed as a warehouseman in a pharmaceutical warehouse of the capital city of Ravenna, has been the protagonist since the beginning of 2024within the workplace, of anomalous behaviors that have aroused the suspicion of employers who, also taking into account the particular nature of the drugs stored in the warehouse, immediately turned to the investigators of the Provincial Command.
After the first immediate discussions with the Judicial Authority, it was undertaken a classical investigation activity (shadowing, observations) and of a technical nature (including several cameras dedicate to monitor the subject), which allowed us to ascertain numerous episodes in which the suspect stole various types of products from the warehouse pharmaceutical to then sell them to third parties.
The typology of stolen products also determined a differentiation of the various contested crime titles: in reference to the theft of freely available products, the hypothesis of aggravated theft crimewhile for some particularly sensitive drugs (products containing hormones and similar) it has been hypothesized that crime of supplying narcotic substances – certain drugs included in the ministerial table on narcotic substances – or of unauthorized practice of the medical professionin relation to the absence of medical prescriptions for other medicines that were first stolen and then sold to third parties.
