Tuesday 2 July weather alert in Campania: hydrogeological risk and storms
Local or scattered precipitation is expected, including showers and thunderstorms, occasionally of moderate intensity, especially in the inland sector.

The Civil Protection of the Campania Region, in consideration of the evaluations of the Functional Centre, has issued a weather alert with consequent criticality Yellow throughout the region, from 10am until 10pm tomorrow, Tuesday 2 July.
Local or scattered rainfall is expected, including showers and thunderstorms, regularly of moderate intensity, especially in the internal sector.
Attention must be paid to the hydrogeological risk: among the main consequences of the impact of rain and storms on the ground are flooding, increase in the hydrometric levels of watercourses, flow of water on road surfaces, runoff with transport of material, fall boulders and landslides also taking into account the saturation of the soil or conditions of hydrogeological fragility of the land.
Municipalities are reminded to activate the COC (Municipal Operations Centers), to pay attention to the communications of the Unified Regional Operations Room and to implement all measures aimed at preventing, countering and mitigating the expected phenomena, in line with the respective municipal civil protection plans.
