The class of 2004 originally from Turin completes the spiker department for the 2024/2025 season. Tommaso Ichino wore the shirt of Gamma Chimica Brugherio in the last two A3 championships and again with the Lombard team he participated in the Junior League in 2022. With the pink devils he was also an opponent of the red and whites, “I still remember the challenge played at the Banca Macerata Forum two years ago”says Ichino. “The offer from Macerata was a nice surprise, I was evaluating some offers from other clubs but when the call came from the red and whites I immediately accepted. I was convinced by the sports project and the plan they presented to me for my growth as an athlete”.
This will be your first season in A2, “I expect many surprises given the jump in category. I was used to A3 and I know that A2 is a different championship that will offer new challenges; for me it is an important opportunity to grow and reach a higher level. I know that I will have experienced teammates from whom I can learn a lot and other young people like me who want to emerge”.
Coach Castellano also confirms the margins for growth, “Ichino is a player who can improve a lot, he comes from the Diavoli Rosa school in Brugherio and has important physical skills. I expect a leap in quality from him, he will be able to give us a lot in terms of freshness and he will have to be good at conquering his space. I saw him motivated and I’m sure he will do well”.
