Trenord allies itself with the Rugby Sound Festival and offers extraordinary stops and rides: «The train is one of the ways to reach the concerts held on the Isola del Castello di Legnano». On four evenings of the event, the railway company will operate extraordinary night trains for the return to Milan, Treviglio, Varese: the opening concert of Subsonica preceded by the DJ set of Röyksopp on 27 June and the shows of Placebo on 1 July, Coez & Frah Quintale on 3 July and Deejay Time Celebration on 13 July.
It will be possible to travel on extraordinary routes with a dedicated ticket that includes the trip the outward journey on one of the scheduled trains to Legnano station and the return journey on one of the additional night connections. Purchasable only online at a cost of ten euros, the ticket must be used on the day of the corresponding concert and does not require validation. Details on the upgrade for the Subsonica + Röyksopp Dj-set concerts on 27 June and Placebo on 1 July are available on the Trenord website and App, for which it is already possible to purchase tickets. Four extraordinary races are scheduled on both evenings, two towards Milan and Treviglio and two towards Varese.
For the moment the times for the Subsonica and Palcebo concert have been officialised. Information on the enhancement planned for the other two dates will also be published in the next few days.
The extraordinary train stops
The races in the direction of Milan and Treviglio will stop in Canegrate, Parabiago, Vanzago-Pogliano, Rho, Rho Fiera, Milan Certosa, Milan Villapizzone, Milan Lancetti, Milan Porta Garibaldi Passante, Milan Repubblica, Milan Porta Venezia, Milan Dateo, Milan Porta Vittoria, Milan Forlanini, Segrate, Pioltello Limito, Vignate, Melzo, Pozzuolo Martesana, Trecella, Cassano d’Adda.
Trips towards Varese will stop at Busto Arsizio FS, Gallarate, Cavaria-Oggiona-Jerago, Albizzate-Solbiate Arno, Castronno, Gazzada Schianno Morazzone. To reach Legnano station, you can use the suburban line S5 Varese-Milano Passante-Treviglio and the regional lines Milan-Gallarate-Varese-Porto Ceresio, Milan-Gallarate-Arona-Domodossola, Milan-Gallarate-Luino.
The enhancement for the Subsonica + Röyksopp Dj-set concert
For the opening concert scheduled for Thursday 27 June, four extraordinary night-time return trips are planned, which will run on Friday 28.
