Viterbo – Fc Viterbo, stuck in Eccellenza, is eyeing Serie D.
To play it, however, we need a title which could arrive thanks to the merger with Amatrice Rieti.
The hypothesis is gaining more and more ground since the Rieti team, which won the Eccellenza playoffs and achieved passage to Serie D, is currently without a stadium and is unlikely to win the tender for the Scopigno concession.
Here then the merger becomes possible with the managers of the two companies who have been talking for a few days now and in case of a positive outcome of the meetings they will have to ratify everything to the National Amateur League by July 15th.
The name of the new team would remain linked to Viterbo just as control of the first team would go entirely to Piero Camilli.
Initially, given the impossibility of using Rocchi immediately, the club would play at Stefanucci in Vignanello which is approved for Serie D.
