Milan chooses the deputy Egonu, Marinova

MILAN– Radostina Marinova is a new player for Vero Volley Milano. The opposite tackle, of Bulgarian nationality, will be Paola Egonu’s deputy in the next A1 championship.

THE CARREER-

Marinova, born in ’98 for the national team, began playing volleyball in her homeland at Kazanlak Volleyball, 200 km from her hometown Sofia. He then moved to the United States for a year where he combined university and volleyball playing for Long Beach State University in California. In 2018 he returned to Bulgaria and wore the colors of VK Beroe for two seasons in Stara Zagora, a city not far from Kazanlak. From 2020 to 2024 he played in France, first in Evreux Volleyball for two seasons (2020/2021, 2021/2022), then in Stade Francais Paris St Cloud (2022/2023) and finally in RC Cannes (2023/2024). She is now ready to take another important career step and fly to the women’s Serie A1 at Vero Volley Milano.

« I am very happy to wear the Vero Volley shirt next season. I have many good expectations and I believe that the team can aspire to important goals. It will be my first season in Italy, I will play in one of the best leagues in Europe and this represents a further incentive to always give 100% when I am called upon ».
