In the world of MotoGP, while waiting for next week’s Dutch Grand Prix, the latest negotiations must be highlighted
This year’s MotoGP, in fact, is experiencing a moment of pause given that, after the Italian Grand Prix last June 2nd, it will return next Sunday with the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen. The last race before the break, therefore, saw a beautiful Italian one-two in the home race of Mugello.
In fact, the two-time reigning champion ‘Pecco’ took first place Bagnaiawhile Enea came in second place Bastianini. The last step of the podium, however, was occupied by the Spaniard Jorge Martin. With these results, in fact, the world ranking of drivers has become even more balanced.
Martin is still in command but now he has only 18 points ahead on our ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia. A little further behind, but with only 35 points, is the other Spaniard Marc Marquez. Enea Bastianini, however, is in fourth place with 114 total points. Another fact worth mentioning is that all these riders race for a single motorcycle manufacturer, namely the Ducati. The latter, in fact, is dominating the World Cup. However, while waiting for the Dutch Grand Prix, there is some news to report regarding a rival of Borgo Panigale, namely the Honda which is experiencing a very complex moment.
MotoGP, rich offer from Honda to Turkish rider Toprak Razgatlioglu: here are all the details
According to what was gathered by the portal ‘gpone.com’, in fact, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has an offer ready to Kenan Sofuogluaka Toprak’s agent Razgatlioglu. There Hondatherefore, moved to try to acquire the performance of the Turkish driver, who is under contract for yet another with BMW.
However, Kenan Sofuoglu has already let the German company know that his client will leave Superbikes. Toprak Razgatlioglu, therefore, does not want to miss the opportunity to debut in MotoGP. Furthermore, Honda’s interest in the Turkish rider is so strong that this market indiscretion has already been circulating in the paddock since the Italian Grand Prix which was held last June 2nd in Misano.
HRC, in fact, presented a really advantageous offer to Razgatlioglu to make him debut in MotoGP next year. Soon, therefore, we will know whether the Turkish rider (winner of the European Superstock 600 championship in 2015 and World Superbike champion in 2021) will decide to accept this rich proposal from Honda or not.
