LBA OFFICIAL – Reyer Venezia, here is the announcement: Alessandro Lever taken

L’Umana Reyer Venice announced the multi-year hiring of Alexander Lever, last season at Gevi Napoli. The player’s words: “It is truly a great emotion to be part of Reyer and I thank them for their trust. I am convinced that it is a very important opportunity, when the call came I immediately accepted the challenge with great enthusiasm. Reyer is an ambitious club who always competes to win and I want to be ready to be part of this team. I will work hard to make my contribution, regardless of the minutes I play. Reyer also represents a great opportunity to improve as a player.

I am a person who likes to work out and be in the gym. I don’t know many words and I want to demonstrate with facts what a player I am. Reyer’s philosophy is like mine: giving everything on the pitch and putting the we before the “I”. I will also have the opportunity to work with a top notch coach and staff, I’m really looking forward to it. We will see each other soon!”

The carreer – Wing/Centre of 208 centimeters and 104 kilos, Lever was born in Bolzano on 4 December 1998. He grew up as a basketball player in the Piani Bolzano nursery before moving, at the age of sixteen, to Pallacanestro Reggiana with which he completed his youth sector career and made his debut in Serie A, in the 2015/16 season. In the summer of 2017 he moved to America where he played and studied at Grand Canyon University, wearing the Lopes shirt for four years with which he became the second player for appearances in the history of the college and third best scorer. In 2018 he was elected WAC Freshman of the Year while in 2021 he was included in the ideal quintet of the Western Athletic Conference. He ended his American university experience with a degree in Business Management.
