In the two-wheel market there are two crossover motorcycles in particular that are decidedly difficult to beat and the competition knows it well. That’s why everyone loves them.
Crossover motorcycles have always been among the most loved in the two-wheel world. In recent times, the market has been dominated by two models which have made quality and low cost their strong points. So let’s see which ones we are talking about and why it is impossible to beat these two contenders.
On one side we find Honda, on the other Voge Valico. In fact, the two giants we are talking about are divided respectively between Japan and China. But let’s go even more specifically and look carefully at two incredible bikes.
Just take a quick look to understand that Honda NX500 and Voge Valico 525DS they are two real bestsellers in the category. And then they cost little compared to competitors, without giving up anything in terms of performance and therefore technical characteristics. They are versatile, low cost and at the same time equipped with all the accessories already supplied as standard, impossible to forget once you have tried them.

To underline, first of all, the change that has taken place at Honda because the bike we are talking about has changed its name in 2024, going from CB500X to NX500 taking up the Dominator range launched in the 90s. It has thus become in a certain sense more attractive and has made things clear for the competition: it wants to be the most popular on the crossover market.
This Honda it is available in three different colors: Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, Pearl Horizon White and Grand Prix Red. Mount a DOHC four-stroke parallel twin, liquid cooled; maximum power is 47 HP at 8,600 rpm, while maximum torque is 43 Nm/6,500 rpm. But let’s also see together the bike put on the field by Voge.
As for the Voge Valico 525DSX, we know that it has a slightly smaller tank than the competitor (16.5 liters vs 17.5 liters) but it has slightly larger and more attractive shapes, so much so that it looks a lot like a maxi. It is available in Sparkling Grey, Black Knight, Avio Blue. It also mounts a motor 4-stroke twin cylinderliquid cooled and with maximum power of 47.6 HP at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque of 44.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
Honda costs about a thousand euros more than the Chinese one, so we have: the NX500 which has a list price of 7,390 euros compared to 6,290 euros for the Voge Valico 525DS (on promotion now at 5,990 euros in the Sparkling Gray and Avio Blue colours). The differences are not that evident, if not mostly in the price, so you will be spoiled for choice between the two.
