GIUNTOLI, CLEAR IDEAS BUT TWO OBSTACLES

Cristiano Giuntoli is working to create a stronger, more competitive, more square Juventus that can compete in the best possible way with the leaders, in order to limit the currently very evident gap with Inter.

The choice of Thiago Motta was an important choice, clearly a break with the past, with a coach who, in theory, should propose a more pleasant game, without forgetting the effectiveness of the defensive phase and defensive strength, something that Motta, unlike what many say, he also did it in Bologna, just look at the defensive statistics of the Rossoblu team which last season were very close to the Juventus ones.

Let us not expect, therefore, a totally unbalanced Juventus, but a very compact one, compact as Cristiano Giuntoli’s work will have to be at market level, some operations have already been outlined: Di Gregorio for the goal and Douglas Luis for the midfield which he would represent, if were closed under the conditions we are talking about, a very very very interesting operation that could bring capital gains, a player who on paper is recommended by everyone, very strong at a low price.

Cristiano Giuntoli’s market objectives are clear objectives which however clash with some obstacles that the Juventus manager currently encounters on his path.

The first obstacle is clearly represented by the indecision of Adrien Rabiot who has not yet communicated to Juventus his desire to stay or leave. If he remained, the department would be almost complete and perhaps it would only need a small retouching, to then be truly at a top level. If Giuntoli were to leave, however, he would find himself in a slightly more complicated situation with the need to go and purchase another piece of value so as not to make the department less strong than the season just ended.

The second obstacle is represented by the possible savings that Juventus could have in the sale of goalkeeper Szczęsny, who has already played a great match, the first against the Netherlands because Al Nassr has not yet closed the negotiation. The saving of not having to pay the approximately 13 million salary for next season is important for Juventus. If Juventus managed to close the operation, 18 million would be crucial.

Cristiano Giuntoli left with very clear ideas on what Juventus needs. We know, a stronger midfield, slightly more effective wingers and certainly also some reinforcements in attack. Strategy absolutely shared with Thiago Motta who is aware of arriving in Turin and having to try to stay as close as possible to Inter.
