The Asd Pallavolo Don Bosco, as in previous years, concludes its sporting and social activity with the organization of the national youth tournament “Volley sul gulf”, organized in memory of Lorenzo Guani, a general who died prematurely. The 2024 edition is dedicated to the women’s sector in the under 12 category and will be held throughout the day on Saturday 15 June at the gym of the 2 June complex; The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday 16 June in the afternoon. Companies participate Calenzano Volley Florence, Mise Volley Massa, La Spezia Volleyball School and the organizing company Pallavolo Don Bosco. Sponsored by the Municipality of La Spezia and the Territorial Committee of the Levante Volleyball Federation.
In addition to the participating clubs, the best player, the best setter and the best attacker of the tournament will be rewarded. She will also be rewarded by the Ornella Marchese association from La Spezia, multi-national and great interpreter of international volleyball. The hosted companies will be housed in the Cadimare Air Force barracks structure. The event takes advantage of the collaboration of Prospezia Ciassa Brin, Tandem Association and Objective Spezia. On Sunday morning the companies from Calenzano and Massa will be accompanied to Porto Venere for a trip with an inevitable swim.
