Eleven days after their debut against Albania, Luciano Spalletti’s European team will begin to reveal itself to the general public. He will do it this evening at the Dall’Ara in Bologna starting at 9.00 pm, the first of two friendly tests scheduled before flying to Germany. After four days of training in Coverciano, our national team will face Vincenzo Montella’s Turkey in Emilia. It will be a useful probative test to put into practice what has been tried in the training camp in recent days, important to clarify the ideas of a technical commissioner who will have to announce the final list of players called up in about 48 hours.

After losing Scalvini, Spalletti called Federico Gatti in Coverciano and announced that he would take him with him to Germany. The Juventus defender, who arrived in training camp yesterday like Scamacca, will however not be part of the line-up that will take to the field from the first minute this evening: in front of Vicario (number 12 who will be tested in place of captain Donnarumma) there will be Mancini and Bastoni, on the side lanes there is room for Di Lorenzo and Dimarco. A four-man line which – according to the indications received in recent days – could also be entirely re-proposed for the debut against Albania.
In the middle of the pitch Nicolò Barella will be missing, a midfielder who carried out differentiated work yesterday: with Jorginho there will be Cristante, the balance of power of a team with a strong offensive vocation: Orsolini and Chiesa will play in support of Retegui, Lorenzo Pellegrini will act as number 10. He will referee the contention is the Austrian Sebastian Ghisamer.
