Flurry of confirmations at Rugby Viadana. After Mignucci, Mistretta, Baronio and Bronzini, the Riviera club announces four more players who will wear the yellow and black again next year. They are: Fabrizio Ciardullo, Matteo Luccardi, Filippo Lavorenti and Exequiel Orellana.
Fabrizio Ciardullo
It needs no introduction. «I am very happy to play another season with this shirt because I feel that I am growing a lot, as a person and as a player – comments Fabrizio -. I was struck by the atmosphere that was created this year, by the people who returned to the stadium and by those who never left us. What we did this season was no accident. We want to repeat ourselves.”
Matteo Luccardi
Matteo arrived last season from Calvisano, managing to immediately carve out a place among the starters and achieving very important playing time at the end of the season. Solid in defense, excellent ball carrier and infallible finisher. «I am really happy to be able to spend another season alongside this club and its fantastic fans. – he claims – . Thanks to the environment that was created between players and staff, hard work and sacrifice were perceived as a privilege. I renew the promise made upon my arrival: the goal is to repay the trust given to me by working to provide high-level performances in every match. Filippo Lavorenti
The season just ended was also the first for Filippo with the yellow and black shirt. Despite his young age (born in 2003), he managed to win a starting place on the second line in the second half of the season, partnering with Schinchirimini. This is his comment: «The environment in the locker room, the relationship with the staff and the enthusiasm of the fans. These are the main reasons why I decided to stay in Viadana. I will give my contribution on and off the pitch. Thanks Viadana!».
Exequiel Orellana
A very physical and fast player, a center born in 1997 who has arrived in his third season with the yellow and black shirt. Coach Pavan will still be able to count on his performances next year. «It’s very simple – Exequiel cuts short – I want to continue to grow with the group, it’s a process that takes time and I know that Viadana is the right place to do it».
