For his part, Swiatek, a twenty-three year old from Warsaw, reaches the final stage of the Parisian tournament after having collected 18 consecutive victories. Victorious in the 1000 tournaments in Madrid and Rome, the Pole escaped a big danger in the second round, canceling match points against an extraordinary Osaka. After the scare, however, Swiatek broke free, leaving crumbs to her opponents.
