ROSOLINA MARE (Rovigo) – Like last year the mosquitoes of Rosolina Rugby, close the season with a mini-beach rugby party on Sunday 9 June on the beach of Rosolina Mare. The party is included in the event “Rosolina Beach Games” which will crown Rosolina Mare the capital of beach sports for three weekends, among other things the event is part of the “Veneto European Region of Sport” program.
The blue granata club proposes the beach party again given the exciting result of last year, again with the FIR format “Colorful Party” in which the teams, respecting the categories, are randomly divided, to promote the values of integration, fight against discrimination and sporting loyalty that rugby embodies, thus making the result unpredictable.
This year the members exceed 500, from 4 to 14 years old, divided into Prime Mete, under 6, under 8, under 10, under 12 and under 14, coming from 16 clubs from all over the Veneto. The little athletes will compete on the free beach between Bagno Perla and Bagno Primavera, from 9.30 to 12.30, and then recover their energy with the traditional third half offered by Bagno Primavera.
“After another season of great successes – he declares Mesini, manager of the club – lastly the first prize in the regional competition of the Carta Etica, the color party is for us a way to meet friends and share the passion for the oval ball with carefree, without the stress of the ranking, without the prediction of the result. The commitment we have made in recent months is summarized by the participation of all these mini-athletes and the many requests for registrations which we had to give up, so as not to exceed the numbers we had planned. We thank all the people who collaborated with the staff, first of all the volunteers of the III° Tempo group, mostly parents, who never fail to provide their support, the sponsors who help us carry out our activities and the parents who they entrust their kids to us. I trust that this year too pure fun will reign, which only rugby, played by children and adolescents on a beach, can offer and I invite all the people who do not know our sport and who will be in Rosolina Mare, to stop for a moment to taste a little of our strange, but wonderful world.”
