With this touching message published on his social profiles, Salì Coulibaly officially said goodbye to playing volleyball, a decision made at just 28 years old (he will turn 29 next October) and which therefore surprises quite a bit.
In the last season, the Brescian player of Malian origins was a protagonist in Piedmont, to be precise with the shirt of LPM BAM Mondovì in Serie A2. You made 27 appearances which seemed to have swept away the memory of the injury suffered in 2022, the knocked out knee after a match and the difficult recovery. It was in the Brescia area that you achieved the most exciting successes of your career, specifically the promotion to B2 with Monticelli Brusati and then the Serie A2 which you almost missed in 2017.
Salì started playing at the age of 8 with the Brescia Volleyball School, continuing his journey in the youth teams of Real Volley and Monticelli Brusati. Coulibaly then played for Tecnoteam Albese and Florens Vigevano. In the summer of 2019 you made the leap to A2 with Omag San Giovanni in Marignano, the following year you moved to Olbia, and then returned to Romagna again. After an intense rehabilitation, she returned to the field at the end of 2022 among the ranks of CBL volleyball before the experience in Mondovì.
