ROVIGO – The sand volleyball season has officially started with the return, for the tenth year, of the InSand Cup.
The first of two stages of the federal territorial beach volleyball circuit was played at the facilities of the Circolo Don Bosco No Way in Rovigo and saw the under 14 and 16 female and male pairs as protagonists.
Nine companies registered in total, specifically: Virtus Taglio di Po, Adria Volley, Volley Ariano, Polisportiva San Pio
Over 100 races were needed to determine the first stage winners, while the next appointment will be on Sunday 26 May in Porto Viro guests of the Delta Sporting Club.
The final Master, which will award the titles and will feature the best eight couples in each category at the end of the two qualifying stages, will instead be held on the shores of the Adriatic, on the sands of Rosolina Mare, on Sunday 9 June at the Rosolina Beach Games.
The following took turns refereeing the matches: Alberto Avanzi, Claudio Fabiano, Giancarlo Garavello, Michela Mondello and Anna Perazzolo.
