Samardzic instead? «Lazar is a talent, even if he needs space and continuity. In the Serbian national team he is closed by Tadic, who however is 36 years old. His time will come. Juventus? I would see him well in Turin».
Lazio without Milinkovic Savic has collapsed. «It was essential for them. They lost so much without him. Sergej is a champion, who scores 10 goals and 10 assists in the championship. Hard to find another like this».
His friend and former teammate Tudor has just landed on the Lazio bench. How do you see it? «Igor is perfect for Lazio. His arrival could cause a shock and will greatly complicate life for Juventus. Tudor is very good and he demonstrated it in Verona and Marseille: he plays good football, solid and aggressive as he was on the pitch who was also very intelligent tactically».
Staying on the topic of coaches: your Juve was an incredible breeding ground of technicians… «It was a team full of people with great personalities. I wasn’t surprised to see Conte, Montero, Inzaghi and Tudor start their careers on the bench».
And Zidane instead? «He took from Ancelotti the tranquility of knowing how to manage a dressing room of great champions. Zizou feels love for Juventus and has never hidden it. One day he will become the coach of Juventus: I’m sure of it. But when you don’t know…».
