Fedez has sued Marcell Jacobs for aggravated defamation, for an issue that dates back to 2021, when the sprinter obtained two gold medals at the Tokyo Olympics, in the 100 meter dash and with the Italian 4×100 m relay. On that occasion the athlete had made strong statements towards the Dream of Ordinary Madness Entertainment srl managed by Annamaria Berrinzaghimother of the rapper, a company that managed his image at the time and from which he then immediately distanced himself.

When Marcell Jacobs competed at Tokyo Olympics, his image was managed by Dream of Ordinary Madness Entertainment srl, Annamaria Berrinzaghi’s Milanese company of which her son Fedez is also a member. The legal battle began almost immediately after the Olympic adventure. Five months later, in fact, the champion decided to leave Doom. The company, however, immediately decided to challenge the unilateral termination of the contract by the sprinter from Brescia, taking the case to court. The champion later signed with X-Hybrida London agency with Italian management, by the entrepreneur Luca Oddo.
The Doom lawyers, however, took the case to court, because Jacobs would not have honored the contract, with natural expiry in September 2022, also requesting compensation. According to the athlete, the relationship that began in 2018 had not brought the desired results and it was natural for him to dissolve the contract, especially after the treatment given after the Tokyo victories. The issue, however, did not end here.

For those words spoken in the aftermath of the great world success, in fact, the champion found himself falling upon him a lawsuit for aggravated defamation. These days the Brescia Prosecutor’s Office has filed the notice of conclusion of the investigations, which could precede the request for indictment. If this were the case, the champion, fresh from two gold medals at the European Athletics Championships in Rome and leaving for the Paris Olympics, he could end up on trial. The complaint originated from the administrator Berrinzaghiby Federico Leonardo Lucia, aka Fedezand by Dream of Ordinary Madness Entertainment srl itself against the award-winning sprinter.
