Edoardo Donnamaria returns to music with his project Drojette. The new single is Careless, produced by Swann and available from Friday 7 June For Ghandi Dischidistributed by ADA Music Italy. Careless tells the end of a love story, which fades into a moment in which one is too distracted to fully understand the value of what has been lost. After having removed the traces of a past that has now vanished, we find ourselves faced with the need to start over, finding the strength to get back up but at the same time giving ourselves the time necessary to do so.
“Sbadato is a song about a love that ends when you’re too young to understand what you’re losing the moment you lose it. You’re careless, listless and too lazy to fight, and after a few months you find yourself reflecting on what you could have had, looking at the photos on your phone. You delete the photos and videos and try to move on. If you haven’t fought to keep a woman who loved you, you have to fight to get back up, but in the meantime, ‘I’m going to stay on the couch for a while because I’m collapsed and I won’t answer the phone.’”
