A tour of nostalgia in discos abandoned halfway between the school trip and the organized tourist visit. The singer-songwriter takes on the role of professor and tour guide Max Pezzali which took everyone on a bus trip from Milan to Pavia for a tour of the ‘Abandoned Discos’. The protagonist honored in this nostalgia tour could only be the king of the clubs: Claudio Coccoluto.
Claudio Coccoluto, the king of DJs, has died: he was 59 years old, fighting against an incurable disease
Max Pezzali, new single is dedicated to Claudio Coccoluto
It’s the title of the new single that will be released on April 15th on the radio and on YouTube, but not on platforms, as was once used. Because the unreleased song is precisely a tribute to those places that were protagonists of the nightlife of the 80s, 90s and 2000s, which “had – underlines Pezzali – incredible cultural merits and were unable to withstand the impact of modernity”.
Club that Max rediscovered thanks to the photo book “Disco mute” and which he pays homage to with a piece written with Jacopo Ettorre and Michele Canova, who also oversaw its production. The piece is accompanied by a video with testimonials from the most famous DJs and is dedicated to Claudio Coccoluto.
