The last time that Star Wars tried to introduce us to the big screen new protagonists of the main saga’s storyline, but it didn’t go very well: the sequel trilogy was a bit of a disaster in terms of fan appreciation, but the film about Rey could be the right opportunity to correct the shot.
Shortly after the director’s words on the Star Wars film about Rey, new rumors leaked via social media have in fact predicted thearrival of quite a few new protagonists on the occasion of the new chapter of the franchise: there is a concrete possibility, in short, that it is a new beginning just like Episode VII was almost a decade ago now.
The one who talked about it was the usual insider Daniel Richtman, according to whom the Rey Skywalker film will be the opportunity that Lucasfilms aims to exploit to present to the public “a lot of new adult protagonists“. It is not clear, of course, what their role will be, but knowing the way the production works it is easy to guess that, if the rumours were to be true, they should be characters designed to accompany us in the medium/long term.
