More than two years after the release of The Batman in cinemas, the spotlight is increasingly shining on The Batman 2, the sequel to the franchise directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson. Andy Serkis, who will return to the role of Alfred Pennyworth, gave new news to fans.
Engaged at the ACE Superhero Comic Con, Serkis confirmed that filming is expected to begin in first weeks of 2025:“Basically, I don’t know anything about the movie other than I just found out that we’re probably going to start shooting early next year. So if you do the math, it’s going to be a year and a half later. I know Matt Reeves is working really hard on the script Matt Reeves, being Matt Reeves, being an incredible director, I imagine he’s going to make a brilliant script, because I think what he did with the first movie was really amazing. THE plot details of The Batman 2 still remain a mystery, with the return of Robert Pattinson in the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoë Kravitz in the role of Selina Kyle/Catwoman and the other members of the original cast, including Colin Farrell and Paul Dano in their respective characters of Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin and the Riddler.
