Creed, Spider Man and the films not to be missed on television this evening
Descriptive text here

In view of the start of the weekend in which Easter will be celebrated, here are the films that will be available tonight on the small screen. From flops that led to the bankruptcy of the production company to feature films centered on comic book characters, here is a list of the titles not to be missed this evening in television.

The films available on TV tonight

Corsairs

The first recommendation on the films available this evening is the one that airs at 9.05pm on TwentySeven. This is strange advice, since Corsairs it was one of the worst flops in the history of cinema, to the point not only of bankrupting the production company, but also of casting a sort of “curse” on the pirate genre, which sailed in dire straits until the arrival of the saga Of Pirates of the Caribbean. Set in the Caribbean of 1668, the film follows the adventures of a privateer (Geena Davis) who, having received an inheritance from his father, sets off in search of a mysterious treasure. Despite the commercial flop, however, Corsairs it continued to live its own life, carving out its share of the public.

Creed II

It returns on Rai 2 at 9.20pm Creed II, the second chapter of the spinoff saga of Rocky played by Michael B. Jordan. In this second film – the last in which Stallone plays the boxer Balboa – Adonis Creed has the opportunity to avenge his father’s death, accepting the fight with the son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), the former Russian champion who had killed Apollo Creed in the ring many years earlier.

Spider-Man far from home

Yet another chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe which, after Avengers: Endgame began to show the first signs of slowing down, Spider-Man: Far from home is the film that airs this evening at 9.30pm on TV8. This is the second chapter of the new saga dedicated to Spider-Man and the last film of Phase 3 of the MCU. Following the facts narrated in Endgame young Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is still trying to mourn the loss of his mentor Tony Stark, and in the meantime he goes on a trip to Europe with his school: between the desire to live a normal life as a teenager and his love for MJ (Zendaya), Peter Parker must face the threat of the Elementals, while meeting Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), who seems willing to take on Iron Man’s role in the boy’s life.

The Punisher – The avenger

For younger viewers, the face of Frank Castle/The Punisher is that of Jon Bernthal, who played him for Netflix in the second season of Dare devil and in the two seasons of The Punisher, and which we will see again soon also in Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+. This evening at 9.20pm on Cielo, however, it will be broadcast The Punisher – The avengerfilm in which Frank Castle is played by Tom Jane, former FBI agent whose family was murdered at the behest of the boss Saint (John Travolta). For man, now, there is no other purpose other than revenge.

The perfect man

The last film we recommend watching on TV tonight is the one broadcast at 9.10pm on channel La 5, The perfect man. It is a comedy from the early 2000s, in which a teenager (played by Hilary Duff), tired of the constant relocations following her mother’s disappointments in love (Heather Locklear), decides to invent a perfect suitor for her. Taking a friend’s uncle as a cue (Chris Noth) the little girl seems to succeed in her aim of distracting her mother, to the point of convincing her to stay in New York.

But lies always find a way to surface.
