The “I Merisi” farmhouse was the setting for a charity dinner organized by the Ferrari Club of Forlì for the Pediatrics Operating Unit of the “Morgagni-Pierantoni” hospital in Forlì, directed by the head physician Enrico Valletta. A special evening, which saw the delivery to the club of a commemorative flag signed by all the protagonists who led the Prancing Horse House to win the 2023 edition of the “24 Hours of Le Mans” with crew number 51 composed of Antonio Giovanizzi, Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado.

A triumph, which occurred on the hundredth anniversary of the first edition of the historic competition held in 1923, repeated this year with crew number 50 composed of Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen. The event, which concluded with the cutting of a Ferrari-themed cake, was attended by 27 people. “With this event we managed to raise 450 euros that will be used to purchase useful material for the Pediatrics department – explains the president of the Club, Piero Gardini -. We have already had the opportunity to meet the head physician Valletta, who explained to us the activities of the department and what is needed. It was a moment that they particularly cared about and in the end this dinner under the stars was a success of generosity”.

“On the flag, an object we care a lot about, there are the signatures not only of the drivers, but also of the designers who contributed to Ferrari winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans after 58 years, and in the year of its return to the Endurance championship. . And we will definitely have the 2024 flag too and that’s a beautiful thing. We hope to continue like this in the next editions too.” The Ferrari Club of Forlì is growing in number of members and “there are more and more young people interested – continues Gardini -. We will have many events to experience together, starting this weekend in Imola with the Europen Le Mans Series, where we will go to support our partner Davide Rigon. Then some members will be in Monza for the Italian Formula One Grand Prix, while in September we will celebrate the 43 years of the Club. In October we will instead be in Imola for the Ferrari world finals. We will close the year with a visit to the Maranello factory and other events we are organizing.”
