Set to coincide with the regional and European elections, the vote to elect the new government of Croce Verde Torino took place in Turin. The Turin body, which also oversees the external sections, including that of Borgaro-Caselle, must call regular elections every three years.
Over 1,500 voluntary members, i.e. the militants, who together with the other members defined by the statute, were called to the polls to renew the corporate positions of the board of directors, from which the appointment of the president, vice and all the councilors will then derive.
Of the 18 candidates who had put themselves on the list, the 13 foreseen by the statute were elected and entered the Council, who will constitute the new governance for the next three years.
Here is the list of those elected: Enzo Sciortino, Luca Rittatore, Vincenzo Favale, Mario Moiso, Salvatore Bucca, Marino Properzi, Piero Bergamasco, Marco Galetto, Antonio Urbino, Fabrizio Marchino, Davide Tessore, Rosa Cataffio, Luciano Dematteis.
Currently the president, who had replaced the unforgettable lawyer Paolo Emilio Ferreri, was Mario Moiso, while his vice was Vincenzo Sciortino. When the new councilors met, Mario Moiso was unanimously confirmed as president and Enzo Sciortino as vice. Vincenzo Favale will be the administrative director, Luca Rittatore will be the director of services and Antonio Urbino will be the health director. All in the name of continuity and cohesion of an already tested team that has always carried forward the good governance of Croce Verde Torino. A wish for a speedy recovery goes to Salvatore Bucca, former director of services and currently undergoing treatment for health problems and currently unable to provide his usual customary and important contribution.
In a future council, the other managers will be appointed, within the structure of the institution. Our section of Borgaro-Caselle will also be interested in these changes, but we cannot give you news now, which will be the subject of a future article.
