New meeting, in recent days at Palazzo di Città, as part of the technical table wanted and established by the mayor Rinaldo Melucci to initiate the procedure that will lead to the drafting of the General Urban Plan (PUG)the tool that will have to redesign the face of the city.
In continuation of the activities started in recent months, the professor Francesco Karrer and his pool they illustrated to the mayor, to councilor Edmondo Ruggieroto the director of the Urban Planning Office, Eng. Simona Sassoto the municipal councilor Giuseppe Fiusco and to the technicians of the Planning Office of the Urban Planning Directorate the state of progress of the Plan in view of the upcoming participation meetings with the various stakeholders Of the territory.
Concerning all areas, including the Taranto Navy, the scenarios outlined by Professor Karrer’s team have been the subject of a constructive comparison which will continue, according to the timetable, also next month, all while waiting for the start of the second season in September Coplanning Conference for the evaluation of the activities carried out, a prelude to the final phase of the procedure, which will culminate in the presentation of the Urban Planning Plan to the Town Council for its adoption.
