The Emilia-Romagna Region portal dedicated to MarghERita is online, the regional Big Data Platform financed with resources from the Development and Cohesion Fund (FSC), the Hpc machine designed to allow all public bodies in Emilia-Romagna to exploit the potential of new technologies. The new site, created with the support of Lepida and accessible at the link margherita. regione.emilia-romagna.it, is already in a bilingual version and describes the project and its history, offers information on who and how can use MarghERita and describes the first use cases that the Region and Lepida are working on.

It will also be enriched monthly with news related to the project and news of general interest on topics such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and other use cases. MarghERita is available to all the Public Administrations of Emilia-Romagna, Municipalities, Unions of Municipalities, Provinces, Health Authorities, Universities, Agencies, Public Service Companies and other national institutions, which must submit their projects to the Region’s tender by the end of 2024. Bodies will be able to work together to integrate and manage large quantities of data from different sources, process them and extract useful information for monitoring, planning and evaluating public policies.
