Chocolate Museum Opens in Turin

A new and fascinating place has opened its doors in Turin Chocolate Museum he was born in Giandujacalled Choco Story. Located in the underground laboratory of Pfatisch, one of the oldest pastry shops in the city, the museum is located at number 38 Via Sacchi.

The idea was born from Francesco Ciocatto, owner of the pastry shop, and Eddy Van Belle, an entrepreneur known for creating the Belcolade brand and for opening other chocolate museums around the world.

Turin, recognized as the Italian capital of chocolate, is the ideal place for a museum dedicated to this delicacy. The city is famous for the invention of Paul Caffarel and for the gianduiotto, whose history and production are at the center of the museum’s exhibition.

Choco Story does not limit itself to telling the story of Piedmontese chocolate, but offers visitors a real adventurous journey. The experience begins with the recipes and cultivations of the Maya and Aztecs, passing through the importation of chocolate into Europe by the Spanish, up to the invention of the gianduiotto.

The route is enriched by interactive activities, installations and multimedia games, designed to make the visit interesting even for the youngest.
