MESSINA – Zucchero, or more than 40 years of career in the name of rhythm and contamination. A bit of blues, like the memorable 1987 album “Blue’s”, and a bit of pop. Light music and sometimes author’s lyrics. Pieces of soul traditions without losing contact with the Emilian land. All this and much more is the Italian singer, now a star, who performed yesterday at the “Franco Scoglio” stadium in Messina. An opportunity to celebrate an engaging ride in his successes.
So here is his “Overdose of Love World Tour 2024”, with many international stops and here the only one in southern Italy. A live show that started in London and which confirms how the artist is a very skilled entertainer, a singer who has been able to combine quality songs and moments of pure energy, art and commercial usability, finding his own stylistic signature, harking back to the greats in an Italian style.
From “Devil in me” and “X colpa di chi” to “Dune mosse” and “Hey man”
