Another arrival at Avellino: it’s done for Leonardo Marson.
Avellino places another incoming purchase. After having closed for Iannarilli and having armored Patierno, the Campania company has in fact concluded the negotiation with Leonardo Marson. The goalkeeper, who played for Cosenza last season, will sign a two-year contract with D’Agostino’s club. The goalkeeper will complete the department together with Iannarilli, who should carry out medical visits with the green and white team in a few weeks.
In the past two seasons the Friulian goalkeeper has protected the posts of Cosenza in Serie B, showing notable qualities. His best period in the academy certainly occurred during his first season in the rossoblù shirt, when Matosevic’s terrible performances brought him back into the starting eleven, allowing him to save a penalty from Brunori in Palermo’s victory.
Despite his young age, Marson is not new to Serie C. In his career we find five seasons in this championship, for a total of seventy appearances, obtained with the shirts of Olbia, Cesena and Vibonese. Famous is the 0-0 in the 2020/2021 season between the posts of Vibonese, obtained thanks to the penalty saved from Antenucci that made him an idol of social media for a while.
