The Municipality of Alessandria has received notice from the Road and Environment Department of the Province of Alessandria that due to the need to carry out road safety improvement works, some closures have been made necessary for remediation work, namely: the closure of the traffic section of the SP 31 “del Monferrato” from km 52+800 to km 53+000, in the Municipality of Alessandria (roundabout at the entrance to the Alessandria Ovest motorway toll booth), from 8 pm on Monday 15 July until 7 am on Tuesday 16 July; alternative routes are possible for vehicles coming from Casale Monferrato and Castelletto Monferrato along the SP n.75 “Castelletto – Quargnento” up to the town of Quargnento or along the SP n.50 “Alessandria – Casale” up to the intersection with the SS n.10 “Padane Inferiore” or along the SS n.10 up to the hamlet of Astuti. P for vehicles coming from San Michele and Alessandria along the SS n.10 up to the junction with the SP n.50, along the SP n.50 up to the town of Quargnento, or along the SP n. 75 up to the intersection with the SP n. 31, in the Municipality of Castelletto
Monferrato.
Alternative routes
For vehicles coming from SS n. 10Var – Alessandria ring road – and heading to Casale Monferrato along SS n.494 towards Valenza. For vehicles coming from the Alessandria ring road and heading to the San Michele hamlet along Viale Forlanini and Via Giordano Bruno, in the Municipality of Alessandria and for vehicles coming from the motorway system: recommended exit Alessandria Est. In consideration of the planned works, transit of exceptional transports along the route is prohibited for the period between Monday 15 July and Tuesday 16 July.
