Viterbo – We receive and publish – The curtain has also fallen on the second week of the Educamp Coni 2024 in Viterbo.
The children were guests for five days at the Smam (Air Force Marshals School) barracks on Via Tuscanese where the second of the three weeks planned ended in spaces made available by the Air Force that allow the boys and girls of the capital and the province, in addition to spending days outdoors in contact with nature, to practice sports ranging from swimming, volleyball, basketball, athletics, martial arts, sports dance, chess, baseball, archery and to carry out tests under the guidance of specialized technicians and motor activity teachers. The latter allow participants to learn about and try many sports.
The technical staff directed by Adriano Ruggero is supported by Maurizio Forti, Paola De Iasi, Ilaria Boni, Francesco Meli, Giulio Ruggiero and Luca Forti. Marika Morandi was present for the animation. The organizational secretary was managed by Erica Petretti.
“The children – explained Adriano Ruggiero – They are busy from 8:30 to 17:30 from Monday to Friday with a program that is attentive to their needs. It is also an opportunity to allow these kids to try more sports in the same week“.
In addition to the usual sporting activities, this week the participants are followed by the Chess Federation with Massimiliano Marini, Luciano Rossi (archery), Luca Politini (karate) and Alessandro Bertollini (baseball).
The closing ceremony took place on Friday afternoon with the awarding of diplomas to the participants and a series of dances involving all the children to say goodbye to this experience in front of their parents.
The Educamp Coni multisport summer centers are dedicated to children between 6 and 14 years old. In Viterbo this event has a long summer tradition, which from SMAM will then move in the next few weeks to the barracks of the army non-commissioned officer school on Cimina which will host this event for another four weeks (until 2 August).
