TERAMO – “Innovative journalist in communication and in the creation of numerous regional television and information realities”. This is the motivation for the Theramanity Award, named after Giandomenico Di Santeawarded to Walter Cori during the ceremonies for the Madonna delle Grazie promoted by the Teramo Nostra association.
Presented by Laura Of Berardini and by the president of Teramo Nostra Piero Chiariniin the splendid setting of the Sanctuary dedicated to the co-patron saint of the city of Teramo, it was Filippo Luccipresident of the Consorzio Punto Europa (CoPE) and former president of Co.re.com., presented the award, recalling the role and goals achieved by “our” Walter Cori during his forty-year career.
Authoritative journalist in the history of information in this city, historical director of Teleponte, one of the first and most important experiences in the history of information and television in Teramo, Walter Cori was able to interpret the changes and developments of the profession by founding the television station Super J and starting various editorial experiences, until “arriving” at ekuonews.it of which today it represents a prestigious signature. Undisputed interpreter of the world of sport, in particular of football which continues to play a role in the “Supergol” broadcast, a point of reference for enthusiasts and fans of the city team and beyond.
