Pallacanestro Trieste officially opens its incoming market with the signing of Jeffrey Brooksstrong forward born in ’89, for the last three seasons with Reyer Venezia.

Jeff Brooks, born June 12, 1989 in Louisville, Kentucky, 203 cm and 100 kg is a player who can easily cover the 4 and 5 spots. A dual-citizen athlete, Brooks will occupy one of the slots dedicated to Italian players in the roster available to coach Christian. Technically, Brooks stands out for his versatility on the court. He is an athletic and dynamic player, capable of covering multiple roles thanks to his athleticism and his build. His shooting ability, both in the paint and from three points, makes him an offensive threat across the board. Brooks also excels on defense, being able to effectively mark players in different positions.
After his college career at the Pennsylvania State Lions, Brooks played in several Italian teams, including Cantù, Caserta, Sassari, Olimpia Milano and finally Reyer Venezia. Abroad he has experience with Avtodor Saratov, in the Russian VTB, and Unicaja Malaga in Spain.
His palmares include a scudetto (in Sassari), four Italian Super Cups (2013 with Cantù, 2015 with Sassari, 2019 and 2021 with Milan), two Italian Cups (2015 Sassari, 2021 Milan), a EuroCup (Malaga 2017). In 2019, Brooks represented Italy at the FIBA World Cup, demonstrating his value on an international level as well. In the last season with Reyer Venezia he played 32 games between the Championship, Italian Cup and Playoffs, scoring 5.6 points and grabbing 4 rebounds per game, constantly demonstrating great energy and dedication to serving the team.
