ALESSANDRIA – The 5 Star Movement is not having it “to ultimatums” on the new council. Il Mayor Giorgio Abonante should announce the next few hours names of the new councilors but the Alexandrian pentastellates “they demand respect for Alessandria and its citizens” and they ask“the time necessary for a clear and decisive confrontation with all the majority forces”.
The Mayor Abonante’s decision to withdraw the delegations all councilors were taken “without any explanation”, complains the 5 Star Movement of Alessandria, which months ago had already asked for a majority meeting to clarify “in a transparent way” the reasons for a council reshuffle which the five-star movement from Alessandria defines as “a questionable operation”.
“In the last two years – writes the 5 Star Movement of Alessandria on Facebook – we worked incessantly, and for this we thank our councilor Serra, to carry forward the objectives of the “Alessandria 2030” program, signed by the entire coalition, even without resources available. The long-awaited resources that would allow us to implement the projects developed will soon arrive from the Government, and this makes the absence of a serious and respectful comparison of the work done so far even more incomprehensible.
We reiterate our full availability for dialogue and collaboration but we demand respect for Alessandria and its citizens. Ultimatums do not serve to build the unity of the progressive camprather we ask Mayor Abonante for the time necessary for a clear and decisive discussion with all the forces of majority.ignorance”.
