Mario Bravi, of the PD, joins the Foligno City Council

Mario Bravi, from the Democratic Party, joins the Foligno City Council

Mario Bravi, member of the Democratic Party (PD), has been officially accepted into the Foligno City Council. This decision was taken by the Central Electoral Commission of the Municipality of Foligno, under the leadership of Marta D’Auria.

The Commission revealed that the convocation was due to a simple material error in the transcription of a report. This error led to the need for a review, which allowed the error to be corrected before the official validation of the elected representatives.

Therefore, Mario Bravi, and not Seriana Mariani as previously reported, will now be part of the Citizen Assembly as a representative of the PD.

The City Council of Foligno is composed of a center-right coalition, led by Mayor Stefano Zuccarini, and a center-left coalition. The center-right coalition includes members of various parties, including Fratelli d’Italia, Forza Italia, Lega, and others. The center-left coalition, on the other hand, includes members of the Partito Democratico, Foligno Domani, Foligno in Comune, Movimento 5 Stelle, and PattoxFoligno.

If some of the elected councilors were to be appointed aldermen, they will have to resign from the Council and will be replaced by other members from the respective lists, based on the ranking. The City Council will therefore be made up of 24 councillors, in addition to Mayor Zuccarini.

This development marks a major shift in Foligno’s political landscape, with Mario Bravi bringing a new voice and perspective to the City Council.
