Responding to the ravings heard in the video circulating on social media by Dr. Vittorio Feltri is between the duty and the desire to ignore, in fact it is not the first time that he is the protagonist of offenses against citizens or entire southern communities, one wonders if he does it provocatively and in search of answers from the offended, knowing full well that the answers would not be lacking or because in bad faith and therefore a repeat offender in the provocation of the populations of the South.
In any case, it is unacceptable to witness such provocative insults from those who, for the function they have played and continue to play, form consciences and should transmit culture. This is what the city secretary of the PSI of Catanzaro, Masino Paonessa, declares in a note. It does not escape anyone, continues Paonessa, that such offensive declarations against the South and the way of dressing of the “maids of Catanzaro” occur in the aftermath of the approval of the bill on differentiated autonomy, benevolently welcomed by the same and which will produce a further gap between the rich part of the country, thanks also to the work and sacrifice of millions of migrants from the South, and the most exploited, robbed and impoverished part by the forces of northern capitalism.

As Socialists, concludes the City Secretary Masino Paonessa, we invite the Mayor of Catanzaro Nicola Fiorita, the President of the Province Amedeo Mormile and the President of the Calabria Region Roberto Occhiuto to promptly undertake all initiatives aimed at defending women and the city of Catanzaro, regional capital from the irreparable offenses of Dr. Vittorio Feltri.
