An extensive police operation made it possible to track down and report two South Americans, cousins in their early twenties, found with marijuana plants in their home.

The agents of the Crime Prevention Department and a dog unit from Nettuno carried out a targeted service which allowed them to check parks, gardens and apartments, cars and people in the city streets, as ordered by the Terni police commissioner Luigi Mangino.

In the operation, the reports received from citizens were also taken into account and it was precisely by following one of these that the apartment in a condominium near Viale Battisti was monitored, where the administrator had reported a continuous go away suspicious.

As soon as the door opened, German Shepherd Odina immediately showed the unmistakable signs of the presence of narcotics.

In fact, 4 plastic pots with a cannabis plant each were found in the bedroom: three 80 cm high without inflorescences and one 30 cm high with inflorescences.

Inside a cupboard, 95 single-dose sachets with the “Grow Shop Doctor Green” logo were found, generally used to package light cannabis and two precision scales.

The two boys, without a criminal record, residing in the house rented by a woman who turned out to be the mother of one and the aunt of the other, who was not present in the house, were taken to the police station and at the end of the procedure they were reported.
