Sunday 30th June the 2024 regional events concluded with Regional Plate Championshipreserved for the recurve division. The Fratelli Paschiero stadium in Cuneo once again hosted the challenges that assigned the class titles, on the 72 arrows, and absolute titles (team, mixed team and individual) with the organization of the local clubs (Arcieri dell’Elice, Arclub Fossano, Gruppo Arcieri Monregalesi and Arcieri di Cuneo) and the support of the city administration.
Andrea Camilleri (Varian Archers) wins the men’s Olympic title, beating 7-3 in the final Federico Puglisi (DLF Alessandria), closes the podium Andrea May (City of Straw Archers). For the women, it is an all-Arcieri delle Alpi derby which the Italian paralympian wins without hesitation (6-0) Elizabeth Mijno are Anna Bottothird place for Nicole Degani (Iuvenilia Archers). Both winners confirmed their respective first class positions.
The Alpine Archers (Bianchi, Botto, Marengo) won the overall regional team title masculinebeating them 5-1 in the final Juvenile archers (Coppola, Morello, Paoli), third position for the Archers of the Biella Prealps (Sanelli, Sartini, Zatti).
Also at femalevictory for the Archers of the Alps (Mijno, Ceriana, Lamprati) on Archers of the Biella Prealps (Atzeni, Nicola, Repetto), without however being awarded the regional title.
In the challenges mixedteamthey impose themselves Juvenile archers (Degani, Paoli) winners 5-1 right on Archers of the Alps (Mijno, Marengo), closes the podium Biella Archers Company (Pivaro, League).
There is also space for the challenges of youth sector: The Clarascum Archers (Bergia, Abrate) win the title in the mixed team Allievi, ahead of DLF Alexandria (Thessaly, Pine) and to theArcclub Fossano (Conte, Streri).
In the men’s boys teams, victory for the Clarascum Archers (Arosso, Protto, Tedesco) on G.A.M. (Bressano, Di Pasqua, Gallesio) and the hosts of Archers of the Helice (Giordana, Parola, Ramonda).
In the mixed team boys, the title goes to Monregalese Archers Group (Arnolfo, Di Pasqua) who beat the duo of Juvenile archers (Tucci, Abelli), third position forArcclub Fossano (Streri, Vignette).
Finally, it is worth mentioning the presence, and the relative victory, of an archer from the division. Visually Impaired 2/3 (second class for the blind), typical of the Archers of Elice: Maurizio Blangero.
