From today – July 1, 2024 – the activity of BVR Banca Veneto Centrale officially beginswith accounting effect from 1 January 2024.
The new regional Bcc, born from the merger between Banche Venete Riunite and Banca del Veneto Centrale, will be the third in size of the Cassa Centrale group and the adventure begins with: 87 branches, also present in Trentino and Lombardy; over 5.2 billion euros of total collection; approximately 50 million of net profit 2023; 19,500 members between natural and legal persons; 135 thousand customers and 586 employees.
The two solid cooperative credit institutions together manage 7.5 billion in intermediated assets and 22 in loans; the net worth amounts to 378 million and the Cet1 ratio reaches 26.09%. The head office is in Longare, the administrative office in Schio, in the Vicenza area; the president is Gaetano Marangoni, the general manager Claudio Bertollo.
It is not the first and we already know that it will not be the last. series of ongoing and planned aggregations in recent months between territorial realities: the next ones are planned in Tuscany and Lombardy, but surprises cannot be ruled out between now and the end of the year.
For everyone, the objective is to compete with the most important players in the national financial market, without losing contact with their social base and the founding values of mutuality and cooperativism.
