Fidc Campania: animal rights activists’ appeal on 2023-2024 hunting calendar inadmissible

Fidc Campania, which intervened as an opponent in defense of the regional choices, announces that the TAR has ruled on the inadmissibility of the appeal proposed by the environmental associations against the last year’s hunting calendar (2023 – 2024) of the Campania Region.

The appeal, presented by Enpa, Lipu, WWF, and Lndc Anilmal Protection requested the annulment of the acts of the Council resolution approving the calendar and subsequent decisions as well as the acts with which the provincial wildlife plans of the Avellino, Benevento rulings had been adopted , Caserta, Naples and Salerno, issued sentence no. on 27 June 2024. 4024/2024 with which, in accepting the exception raised by FIDC Campania, it sanctioned the inadmissibility due to a lack of interest in the decision.

FIDC Campania, the only association that intervened in the proceedings, with the assistance of lawyers Alberto Maria Bruni and Paola Pisaturo, intervening as an opponent in the proceedings de quo, had raised the objection that the appeal was inadmissible due to a supervening lack of interest, since on the date set for the hearing on the merits the 2023/2024 hunting calendar would no longer be effective.
