Come back Friday 28th and Saturday 29th June with its second edition the Pereta Jazz Clubthe event that brings high-quality jazz to the heart of Maremma. Born from an idea by Fattoria Le Pupille, a winemaking excellence in Maremma, it is organized in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Pereta and the patronage of the Municipality of Magliano in Toscana. The artistic direction is by Andrea Roventinidrummer for Tullio de Piscopo, for Gabriele Lorenzi’s Formula Tre and for Katia Ricciarelli and since 2004 European Standard Bearer of Traditional Jazz of New Orleans.

This year, the rich musical program also includes a high-quality food and wine offer with the street food of Riccardo Ricci, known as the “Moto Macellaio”, master of creative tacos and quality meats from the Antica Macelleria Cecchini, which can be tasted paired with Fattoria Le Pupille wines.

“Our bond with the Maremma territory that we tell in our wines year after year is truly profound” says Elisabetta Geppetti, at the helm of Fattoria Le Pupille and on many occasions a supporter of the arts, “This is why it is a real joy for us to be able to contribute again this year to giving life to an event full of energy in the small jewel of a village of Pereta.”

It starts on Friday 28 June at 19:00 with the AperiJazz by Midian Jazz Trio, to continue, from 21:00, with the concert by Mauro Grossi, Ares Tavolazzi and Andrea Roventini. Classically trained in jazz, the trio offers a very interesting mainstream repertoire and not without contamination. With Roventini on drums, Mauro Grossi, pianist, former teacher of Stefano Bollani who has collaborated with musicians of the caliber of Chet Baker and Herbie Hancock and Ares Tavolazzi, historic bassist of Francesco Guccini and Area.

On Saturday 29th June at 9:00 pm the Lino Patruno Jazz Show will be performed. Lino Patruno, living legend of Italian jazzis the founder in 1954 of the Riverside Jazz Band; in the Sixties he played and recorded with masters of jazz history such as Albert Nicholas, Joe Venuti, Teddy Wilson and many others and worked on the big and small screen with Pupi Avati and Renzo Arbore and, as an actor, also with Fellini. Patruno will be accompanied by a band of great musicians: Gianluca Galvani (cornet), Giorgio Cuscito (tenor sax), Silvia Manco (piano and voice), Light Palone (double bass) and the extraordinary participation of Andrea Roventini on drums. read the rest of the article»
