28-year-old psychiatrist Margherita Salvucci dies in Madeira

The accident on holiday

She had gone to Portugal for the holidays with the whole family, his father Piergiovanni, his mother Ornella Formica – former mayor of Colmurano – and his sister. The tragedy would have taken place before their eyes, when the young woman bounced on the rocks, hitting her head. A Tuscan tourist, a firefighter, immediately tried to help her, diving into the water to recover her while waiting for help, who then transported to hospital. The young woman died there yesterday morning, Friday 28 June.

The memory of the speaker

His was an endless curiosity, a driving force to understand the human mind and offer its help.
