Roma now wants to intensify discussions with Rennes to bring Enzo Le Fée to the capital.
Let’s take a step back to the first offer presented by Ghisolfi to the French club. After the initial discussions, Roma proposed to Rennes around 15 million euros to snatch the player and have him wear the yellow and red shirt. The offer was sent back to the sender, but for a specific reason: a year ago the Breton club had spent 20 million to take him from Lorient, so the friendly response to Roma was to raise the offer in order to recover the amount invested twelve months ago.
So after a few days of work and dialogue, the Giallorossi now seem to have convinced themselves to raise the proposal which will be presented in the next few hours. Ghisolfi will put 18-19 million euros on the table, including (easy) bonuses. An offer that Trigoria considers more than adequate for the value of the player who, among other things, wants a change of scenery.
As Corriere dello Sport writes, Le Fée has already reached an agreement with Roma and is just waiting for the green light from the agents to take a flight to Roma.
