A conference was announced by the University of Parma Contact Center Operator Competitionto be included in the Operators Area.

The resources thus selected will be assigned to General and technical services sector, for the needs of the “Contact Center” service of the General Management, at the Parma and Piacenza offices.

Interested parties have until the day to submit their application for admission July 8, 2024.

WHAT DOES THE CONTACT CENTER OPERATOR DO?

The University of Parma, located in Emilia Romagna, has announced a competition for two Contact Center operators.

The professional figure requested must provide support service and assistance service constituting a single point of contact for all types of users and in particular for students. The operator will carry out activities of general support to students in managing enrollment in courses of study.

REQUIRED REQUIREMENTS

Persons in possession of the general requirements for access to public competitions can participate in the competition for Contact Center operators announced by the University of Parma, namely:

• citizenship Italian or from one of the countries of the European Union or from other categories indicated in the announcement;
• age not less than 18 years;
• enjoyment of civil and political rights;
• physical fitness for employment;
• don’t be excluded by the active political electorate;
• not having been dismissed or discharged from employment in a public administration due to persistent insufficient performance or dismissed for the same reasons or for disciplinary reasons or declared terminated for having obtained the appointment or hiring through the production of false documents or documents tainted by irremediable nullity, as well as those who have reported convictions with final judgment for crimes that constitute an impediment to employment in a public administration;
• have not had any criminal convictions with a final judgment and that they have no ongoing criminal proceedings or administrative proceedings for the application of safety or prevention measures, as well as no criminal records against them that can be registered in the criminal record.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Candidates are also required to possess one of the following qualifications:

• Three-year qualification diploma issued by a professional institute or qualification equivalent to current legislation;
• Certificate of skills relating to the first three years of the study programme referred to in Legislative Decree 13.04.2017 n. 61 – with promotion to class IV – from which the achievement of the minimum skills, knowledge and competences necessary to pass the aforementioned period of education emerges;
• Secondary school diploma or another higher level qualification as an absorbing qualification.

Finally, the knowledge of the English language.

HOW THE SELECTION IS CARRIED OUT

The selection will take place through the carrying out of a written test, including theoretical and practical content. It will consist of a series of multiple choice questions (quiz) or a series of open-ended questions, including theoretical-practical ones, and will focus on following topics:

• basic notions regarding university legislation and privacy;
• knowledge of the University Statute and the Organization of the University of Parma;
• ability to use the most commonly used IT applications, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams), e-mail, browsers for browsing the Internet;
• possession of the transversal skills indicated in the announcement.

Furthermore, this test will ascertain the candidates’ aptitude to analyse and provide technical-operational solutions to problems relating to the advertised profile.

This public selection complies with the new rules set out in the public competition regulations.

HOW TO APPLY

The application for participation in the competition for Contact Center operators announced by the University of Parma must be submitted by 1.00 pm on the day July 8, 2024exclusively in via telematics, through the dedicated platform by connecting to the link on this page.

To access the platform it is necessary to authenticate using SPID or institutional credentials.

The application must be accompanied by following attachments:

• curriculum vitae, having the value of self-certification, drawn up according to the European format, duly dated and signed;
• (if applicable) receipt for the start of the procedure for the equivalence of your qualification to that required by the announcement;
• (if applicable) for candidates who need aids, compensatory tools and/or additional time to complete the written test or to replace the written test with an interview, suitable certification issued by the specific medico-legal commission of the ‘Reference local health authority or equivalent public structure;
• copy of a valid identity document (front and back) with visible signature, including those signed with a digital signature.

The test will take place in person on the day July 16, 2024 at 10.00 am in room “A” of the Educational Center in Via Del Prato (Angolo B.go Carissimi) in Parma.
