Accident Sunday afternoon in Verona, where a woman crashed into two parked cars on Roveggia Street and then against a tree.

Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported for the driver, who was extracted from the vehicle thanks to the intervention of the firefighters. The woman is now in hospital for tests.

Accident in via Roveggia: reconstruction

Around 3pm on Sunday 30 June, a woman who was driving along Via Roveggia at the wheel of her small car made a an accident with rather curious dynamics.

According to initial information, while he was walking along the road, for reasons still being investigated, he would have lost control of his vehicle and hit a parked car and van, and then ended his race against a tree.

The firefighters arrived on site with a vehicle and 5 units, who worked, using spreaders and hydraulic shears, to extract the woman who was stuck with her lower limbs in the vehicle’s pedals. Operations which were carried out in collaboration with the healthcare staff, who took steps to stabilize and immobilize the driver, before she was extracted and then admitted to the Borgo Trento hospital for checks.

The work of the firefighters continued with the securing of the vehicle and the operations concluded around 16:15. On site also personnel of the local police of Verona for investigations into the dynamics.

One injured

The woman driving the small car was probably injured in the impact and was therefore entrusted to the care of doctors, who will have to carry out some checks.
