The Regional Council has approved a memorandum of understanding with the Port System Authority of the Southern Adriatic Sea and the Consortium for the Industrial Development Area of the province of Foggia, to proceed with the dismantling of the conveyor belts of the dock of the Deep Sea Basin of the industrial port of Manfredonia, a structure that juts out into the sea for 2 and a half kilometers, on which interventions have been awaited for over 30 years.

The details of the demolition work and the continuation of a project of historic importance will be illustrated next Wednesday, July 3, at 11:30 am, at the A1 dock of the industrial port, by president Emiliano, councilor Piemontese, councilor Ciliento, the mayor of Manfredonia Domenico La Marca, the president of the Port Authority Patroni Griffi and the president of the ASI Consortium of Foggia De Paolis.
