Summer is coming to Perugia airport with the activation from today (June 28, 2024) of two new flights by HelloFly, one of which has not yet been announced, the one to Verona. There are two weekly flights to Lampedusa, the first operated by HelloFly (on Friday) and the second (on Saturday) by Aeroitalia; the latter company also offers flights from Perugia to Bergamo (from Monday to Friday), Milan Linate (on Saturday and Sunday), Olbia and Lamezia Terme, with a total of 5 destinations and 24 weekly flights operated to/from the Umbrian airport.

HelloFly, a Maltese company that operates in collaboration with the best European carriers on the market, on June 28, as per the program announced during the winter, inaugurated the new weekly flights that will connect Perugia with Lampedusa until October 4.

The connections, thanks to the operational synergy with the carrier Luxwing, will be operated every Friday at the following times: Lampedusa 9.10am – Perugia 10.40am; Perugia 3.20pm – Lampedusa 5.00pm. An absolute novelty, however, is the Perugia – Verona flight which will always operate on Fridays with convenient mid-day times: Perugia 11.30 – Verona 12.15; Verona 1.30pm – Perugia 2.15pm. The flight, essentially, will depart from Lampedusa directed to Verona, stopping in Perugia and vice versa.

The two new routes inaugurated today represent a further step forward in the expansion of the network of connections offered to/from the Umbria airport, offering passengers departing from the Umbria airport greater flexibility and travel options for both tourism and business purposes. Passengers departing from “San Francesco d’Assisi”, in fact, will have the opportunity to discover the natural beauty of Lampedusa, with its breathtaking beaches and crystal-clear sea, as well as the rich cultural heritage of Verona, which boasts historical monuments and a unique romantic atmosphere.

For the CEO of HelloFly, Teodosio Longo, it is about “A splendid collaboration, the one now consolidated with the Umbrian airport, which in addition to the connection between Umbria and Lampedusa allows us to activate a new route like that of Verona, thanks to super competitive tariff and operational levels”.

Since the beginning of June, however, as mentioned, another flight has also been operating between Perugia and Lampedusa, the Saturday one from Aeroitalia. Departure is scheduled at 8.45 from Umbria (arrival at 10.25), while from Lampedusa at 17.30 with return at 19.20 in the Umbrian capital.
